Keystone 3D Rapid Realization Request a quote

Prototypes, fixtures, and the part that doesn’t exist anymore.

Keystone 3D is your partner in precision 3D printing and additive manufacturing, based in Western Pennsylvania. Quick-turn parts in everything from PLA to carbon-fiber-infused Nylon 6 — plus CAD design and reverse engineering when there’s no drawing to work from.

Capabilities

How We Can Help

Keystone 3D is a strategic additive manufacturing partner providing rapid prototyping and engineering services to its customers. Keystone 3D’s holistic approach to design and manufacturing ensures timely production, quality prints and satisfied customers.

Rapid prototyping

Quick-turn parts, real materials

Prototyping across a wide range of materials — from PLA to carbon-fiber-infused Nylon 6 and everything in between — so a test part behaves the way the finished one will.

  • Form and fit models
  • Functional components
  • End-use and short-run parts
Reverse engineering

No drawing? No problem

Obsolete and discontinued parts measured, modeled, and reproduced. Bring the broken one and we’ll work back to a printable model.

  • Obsolete part recovery
  • Tooling replacement
  • Legacy equipment
Multiple modalities

The right process for the job

Four core printing technologies, chosen for how the part will actually be used — not for whichever machine happens to be open.

  • FDM and SLA
  • DLP and SLS
  • Draft through precision
Technology

Printing Technologies

Keystone 3D’s core additive manufacturing technologies consist of FDM, SLA, DLP and SLS. Additional capabilities are available — contact us if you are interested in modalities outside our core technologies.

FDM

Fused deposition

Melted filament laid down layer by layer. The broadest material range and the go-to for sturdy functional parts.

SLA

Stereolithography

Laser-cured resin. Smooth surfaces and fine features where the finish matters.

DLP

Digital light processing

Whole layers cured at once by projected light. Fast and crisp on small, detailed parts.

SLS

Selective laser sintering

Powder fused by laser, no supports needed. Strong nylon parts and complex geometry.

Material selection

— and variations of all of the above

Design

Design Services

Whether our customers have in-house engineering capabilities or not, Keystone 3D can provide a variety of engineering services to expedite development and production.

What we design

Fixtures, products, tooling

  • Fixture design
  • Product design
  • Tooling
  • Obsolete part reverse engineering
Platforms

CAD we work in

  • Autodesk Inventor
  • Autodesk Fusion 360
  • SolidWorks
  • — to name a few
Starting point

Send whatever you have

  • STEP / IGES / STL
  • A 2D drawing
  • A sketch on paper
  • The broken part itself
How it works

Three steps, one conversation

Step 01

Send it over

Email a CAD file, a drawing, or a photo with a few dimensions on it. If it’s easier, call and describe the part.

Step 02

Material & method

We talk through how the part gets used — load, heat, sunlight, fit — and pick the process and material to match.

Step 03

Print & hand off

Parts come off the machine, get cleaned up and checked, and go out the door. Adjust and reprint as needed.

What helps us quote faster

A file if you have one, a photo if you don’t, and a sentence about what the part does. Quantity and any deadline you’re working against.

No file yet is fine. Most jobs start with a phone call and a picture.

Start your RFQ

Built layer by layer. Delivered with purpose.

Secure file transfer

Some drawings shouldn’t travel through a web form. When a job involves ITAR-controlled or otherwise sensitive technical data, we’ll arrange a secure transfer outside the quote portal — just say so when you get in touch.

Insured

Keystone 3D carries business insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request — useful if your purchasing department needs one on file before issuing a PO.
